Whenever I want Mexican, as opposed to TexMex, I just go here. Both the food and service are exceptional.

Food is great. The steak is always tender and delicious. Staff is very friendly.

Great service and even better food! Do yourself a favor and get the ceviche! The staff was great; friendly and made you feel at home. The food and drinks were not only noticeably fresh, but also incredibly delicious. You can tell they take their food seriously but make their atmosphere fun and familiar. Byron was extremely personable and helpful!Thanks for the great experience!

Tasty food, friendly service, quick eats, good portions, cool atmosphere, great margaritas (kids liked the aguas fresca).

Had a nice lunch with friends. Very friendly. Food tastes homemade and made with love. Prices are fair and you don't leave hungry.

Guajillo aims to deliver an authentic mexican dining experience. This is my third and final time dining at Guajillo. My order of chicken with mole appeared like something from meals on wheels. The chicken dry and 3 sliced pieces summing to less than a breast. The mole is watery and devoid of characteristic rich flavor. My rice was something out of an uncle Ben's box, oily and over watered. On a positive my partners order of a burrito was large and in charge. Lastly the staff greeted and served in a manner that left us exasperated for drinks, food, and the check. In summation if you are looking for somewhere close and over priced for the product delivered, come to Guajillo.

Wonderful food and margaritas. Friendly staff who is attentive to bring specialty salsas at request. Relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor dining is wonderful to just sit and enjoy. Salsas were excellent.

Hours on their website say 2pm. Walked a half hr only to be told they open at 3pm.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. It's very hole in the wall feeling. Been here quite a few times now and the every staff member I've interacted with is amazing. Prices are great and not over priced. Vegan, vegetarian, and/or gluten free? This place has great options for all!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Guajillo is the perfect place to meet up with friends for a no fuss brunch or dinner. I did brunch and had the plantains with eggs, black beans, and hot sauce (amazing) along with queso fundido (amazing tortillas), ceviche (would have been better for dinner), and both a skinny and agave margarita. The food is all $9-20 for the most part and the margaritas are $11 but $7 for margarita day/weekend.It's located in a strip of restaurants so easy parking, ubering, and walkable from the metro.

We were welcomed in and found our seat. It was our first time here so we asked some food questions and then ordered our drinks and dinner. Food came out in a reasonable time without for being freshly prepared and not on those to hot plates you somethings get at Mexican restaurants. I had two of the tacos and they were very good. Service was truly pleasant from the staff.

Actually walked through the wrong door. We intended to go to Ben’s next door. But we decided to stay. We made the right choice the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Huge, often un-finishable, burritos all for $12.50 makes this place a great place for dinner (and also your lunch the next day).

Came to the restaurant at 9:30 to order a to go order. We were told the kitchen was closed. I asked the bartender if that was the case,why did they state their hours until 10pm. He said when it's slow, they close early. Mind you I've eaten here several times in the past, so I was very surprised. If you want Mexican food go somewhere else because you don't know if depending on which way the wind blows they'll be open.

I had a craving for Spanish food so I went to Guajillo, the steak tacos were perfectly cooked the service was excellent then I asked for the check gave a tip then the service got bad, the staff started talking loudly & laughing but not before I signed though, not going back.

Someone wrapped an Irish casserole in a tortilla and called it Mexican food. Peas, Lima beans, and mushrooms in the burrito and yet it has no spices whatsoever. I’m fairly certain this is the worst Mexican food I’ve had in America. Only Mexican food in Cambodia was worse.

This restaurant is very cute and convenient. The food is really delicious just a little pricey for Mexican food—3 small street tacos for $14. The food tastes great though!

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food and service were spectacular. The margarita was the largest one I've ever had. It was great. The prices are very reasonable. I would go again if I ever have the occasion to visit that area.

From positive reviews this place may have been good once. But it's awful now. Why would you put frozen veggies in a burrito?? And it made my gf very sick. Don't go here ever unless they make major changes.

Good food et good service!

Good food and very good service. I had dinner here while on business travel. The service was very good. Fast and attentive without being pushy or obnoxious. The decor is good and well aligned with the food. My food was also good and my cocktail was very good (full strength). I would have preferred a bit larger portions given the price. Also my shrimp was a bit overcooked. But overall the food was tasty and dining here was pleasant.

Guajillo is one of the best hidden secrets in Arlington, the food is authentic Mexican and the service has always been outstanding. I go here regularly for lunch and always have been impressed with the quality of their food. The chips and salsa is the best I've had in the area too. 5 stars!

They were very good with keeping a constant supply of chips and salsa! However, after the long awaited food comes out, the happiness from all the chip and salsa were instantly gone. I wouldn't eat here again unless I desperately needed to.

Great place, good food with unique options. The salsa is thermaly hot, a nice touch that goes perfectly with a frozen margarita. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that they run out of the amazing pork belly tacos pretty regularly. Indoor and outdoor seating, and a crazy burrito challenge if you're into that. Find the cheeky painting...

Food was amazing & they had a Cuban band performing. They were the icing on the cake.

Way better than mexicali blues. Chips and salsa are good. Chimichanga was enormous and tasted great with their homemade hot sauce. House margarita was good, but had a bit too much ice. Fiance enjoyed her steak tacos.

Great place to go for some Mexican food! Have eaten here dozens of times never once disappointed. Friendly staff, and some refreshing takes on authentic Mexican cuisine.Love their tacos.

One of the better sit-down Mexican restaurants in the area. The house margarita is a real winner and the salsa isn't bad. The service is generally prompt and always friendly. Go for the beef enchiladas.

This is place is an absolute gem - we have lived in Rosslyn for a few years and somehow only just discovered this wonderful place. They are so friendly and accommodating, have a great system for safe pick-up during the pandemic, and their food is EXCELLENT. You can tell they use high quality, fresh ingredients, and while the prices might be a touch on the high side (~$19 for an entree), the portions are enormous (I usually get at least 2-3 meals from one entree) and the flavors are vivid and delicious! Last but certainly not least, their margaritas are wonderful too! We are moving in a week and are SO sad we didn’t discover this fabulous restaurant earlier!

Excellent food. Guajillo is the only Mexican restaurant to serve enchiladas as good or better than I had in Texas. The tortilla chips and salsas are obviously freshly made.

Extremely attentive waitstaff, welcoming & very cool atmosphere. Then there’s the food, which is unbelievably delicious. You absolutely cannot choose wrong, the menu is succinct & caters to their mastery of flavors balanced with spice. Top notch margaritas, I highly recommend the mango!
